The Department of Commerce at P.G. Centre, Hassan was started during 1992-93. Equipped with experienced and distinguished faculty and good infrastructure, the Department has turned out many experts in the field of Commerce, the alumni of the department are working for organization such as Infosys, Accenture, India Bulls, Geogit, ICICI bank, Syndicate bank, ACC, Toyota, Corporation Bank etc., a host of them are member at various Higher Education Institutions as faculty members

Master of Commerce is a full time 4 semester (2 years) intensive programme.The course is designed to provide both academic and industry orientation. Along with specialization in the area of business taxation, the students are given in dept orientation in different functional and technical areas of business scheme.
