The University of Mysore is running a Coaching Centre from the last 29 Years in order to train the SC/ST and other backward class candidates to take up competitive examinations. The coaching classes are conducted for the benefit of SC/ST and other backward class students appearing for competitive examinations, such as IAS, KAS, UGC and CSIR - NET and SET. Training is offered in the application of computer techniques as well. Bridge courses are being conducted for promoting soft skills development.
