About Journalism Media Studio:

The Nadiga Krishnamurthy Audio Visual Studio is equipped with acoustically treated wood wool boards embedded with glass wool which creates sound proof atmosphere. The Studio has lighting grids with cool and LED lights. It is also equipped with cyclorama screen and green matte for news reading.

The Air-Conditioned AV Studio Production Control Room is equipped with Newtek TriCaster Studio TC 350 Recorder with live broadcast capability. The PCR has Sony MCS 8 Six Channel Audio Video Switcher for live recording with Onyx 1620i 16 Channel Audio Mixer. A Comcon Samvad 15-inch Teleprompter with hand control facility is used for the benefit of Students to assist in news reading. Apple Mac Pro is used for Video & Audio editing in the PCR. Audio & Video editing is done through Apple Soundtrack Pro, Motion and Final Cut Pro. A separate Audio & Video Console with two Apple Mac Pro workstation is provided for the Students.

The Studio has AVCHD Camcorders like Sony PMW EX3, Sony Z7P, Sony HDR 660, Sony HDR 160, Panasonic AG 160, Panasonic AG41E for the Students for Indoor and as well as Outdoor Shooting Assignments. Sennheiser Freeport UHF Vocal Setportable Microphones are used for Recording.
